We have installed SMS 2003 as a primary site and used an Eval license key. Now that we own the product, is there a way to change the eval code to our perminant licese code without having to reinstall and reconfigure the server?

You can do that by activating the product. When the window comes up it will ask you would you like to change the product key.

    Thank you for your response.
Forgive me if I have not been clear enough. The situation is like this:
We installed SMS 2003 Enterprice edition with the default product key that the CD automatically inserts. I am assuming it is an Avl # MS inserts to allow for an Eval period. The installation we have now no longer functions and I see no option anywhere that allows me to activate. Thanks again for trying to help.

I would suggest calling Microsoft which shouldn't be a paid call.

According to MS, we were sent the wrong media.
The media we should have used is the Volume key media.
MS is sending new media to us.
    Thanks for your suggestion.
