I want to send backup logs from some of my clients site to me through my exchange server. I thought I'd do this through a receive connector that is wide open and use the exchange user as permissions. FOr some reason it doesnt seem to work.

I can give this backup program an email to address and smtp server information to send me logs. I've tried my email address and domain\user for authentication and it will not work.

The way i do it is to send the messages through the client's ISP SMTP server, rather than an internal server. Avoids opening the relay.
