This is usually caused by a hardware problem. I have seen this error happen due to CPU overheating, but a driver issue can cause it, too.

There should be a hex code along with that IRQ error message, can you post that also.
Does this look like it --> 0x00000009: IRQL_NOT_GREATER_OR_EQUAL
Could you also post the Operating system you are using.
Did you recently install any new hardware?

[Video] Oticon Case Study

Open office environments can create the dynamics for innovation, but they also bring some challenges. With over 1,000 employees in an open office, Oticon needed a solution that would preserve the environment while mitigating disruptive background noises.

Watch how they did it.

No there is not hex code in front of the error.  The wireless card has been removed, exchanged with another, and replaced and BSOD happens at all stages. The MB or Power Supply, and NIC have not been tested. Memory tested with mentioned app above and one other from Microsoft. I am beyond by service warranty with HP and will have to pay for them to fix it, but I may have to go that route. The operating system is Windows XP sp2, there has been no new new hardware installed. Thanks for your responses I will keep at it. Thanks

do you have the error also when booting in safe mode?   then it is probably a driver problem

maseratijAuthor Commented:
No BSOD in Safe Mode, but I have not ran the laptop for extended periods in Safe Mode to see if it is a problem. The error occurs without any reason, sometimes 3 minutes after startup and then and hour or two after startup. I will stay in Safe Mode longer and see if it happens, Thanks.

or try to upgrade your drivers

Drivers are all the most recent from manufacturers website or windows update or manufacturer depending on compatability. This is all after a fresh install BTW
