Remove Cisco Catalyst 3750 stack completely

I have 2 Cisco Catalyst 3750 PoE-48 which I attempted to create a stack with.  That failed so now I'm trying to get everything back to defaults but they are still showing up with previous stack information.  I've since updated the Flash to c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-40.SE versions on both of them.  I've removed the stack cables and now they are basically stand-alone units.

How do I remove the stack inforation and get these to factory default settings?

Here's what shows when I issue a Show Running Config:

I don't see any stack info, only this line "switch 1 provision ws-c3750-48p" which is fine for a single switch.   If you do a "show switch" or "show version" does it show the second switch?  If you do a "sh ip int b" do you see ports past f1/0/48" like f2/0/x?

If not, then it's not configured as a stack anymore.  I have seen the second switch show up after it's been removed, but it goes away with the "no switch..." command.

I manage many switch stacks with the 3750 and haven't had any problems getting them to play.

Gary
