Exchange 2007, OWA, Outlook 2007 question

Hello, I have a question, is there (and has there ever been) a feature in Exchange 2007 (or Exchange 2003, 2000),

for OWA to goto a link such as . https://mailhost.xxxx.com/owa/exchange/username/inbox

is such a think possible? a link directly to an inbox so you can log in directly?

When you say login directly, do you mean a URL that doesn't require a username and password? If so, no.
If you mean go to another person's mailbox, then yes. Simply adjust the URL.

With E2000/2003 it would be http://server/exchange/alias
With E2007 it would be http://server/owa/alias

Simon.

Yes, I meant to goto another persons mailbox

I think the information you gave is when trying internally...how about when trying to access externally?

Doesn't matter whether it is internal or external. Exchange doesn't care. I have just used a shorter URL.

However with Exchange 2007 URL manipulation is not required, OWA has the ability built in.

In E2007, you need to do http(s)://servername/owa/user@domain.com
