Is it possible to link two pages together in impress?  I am new to this and I fear I am using it inappropriately.  My page one has ten items in a list.  I would like to link each item in the list to it's own slide (page?).  I could do this real easily using something like Dream Weaver.  I don't know how to use impress (or power point).so is this even possible?

    Accepted Solution

    Maybe there is an easier way, but this one works:

    With your cursor select the text that you try to link with another slide,
    Edit > copy;
    Insert > Hyperlink > select 'Document' > click 'target'-button on right side,
    so that a list of your slides opens, select the target slide for your link, click
    "Apply" > Close;
    put cursor into 'text' field, press CTRL + V to copy your link text,
    click Apply > Close;
    Voila !!!

    That did it!!!  I didn't do the copy, paste into the text field and so I had default text.  So I was about 50% there.  Thanks for the help.

    Actually I found that with the Open Office suite one
    still needs to be creative quite a lot  - the user
    should have development attitude in mind, somehow ; - ))
