Firewall technologies feedback

I know this may not be the right place to ask this but i am in dire need of a job right now and i need some feedback on how to answer these paragraphs, the recruiter wants me to put after each bullet point paragraph a couple of sentances, i have worked with all of these windows technologies but i just dont know how to word it correctly or how i should paragraph it. any feed back on this would be very appreciated. thanks

Your best bet is to keep is short but as useful as possible.

Explain the basic role of a firewall and the difference between hardware and software firewalls.


Then explain the various terms connected with firewalls, such as SPI, NAT, DMZ, Proxy, Dual-Homed etc.

You could also add in that many firewalls also have VPN systems integrated into them.


If you have experience with Cisco and Sonicwall then add in a couple of sentences about them, if you haven't used them then avoid making it sound like you have.

If you have used, for example, Sonicwall firewalls in the past, I would talk about the specific advantages of a Sonicwall firewall over other hardware firewalls.


If you need anymore help or specific advice (especially with Sonicwall or Watchguard firewalls), then let me know.
