online jfs extending /var

I need to extend /var to 1gig using Online JFS.   I have online Jfs Advanced. var is now 788meg.  I need to extend it to 1gb  What is the procedure for this?

    Accepted Solution

    First `lvextend`the logical volume, then use `fsadm` to increase the size of the filesystem to fill the logical volume "container". Please see the example at
