I wanted to know if you need the Enterprise version of SQl server 2005 to backup the databases directly to a tape drive.  I have been trying to back up my DB's on the tape but that option is grayed out for me and I cannot seem to switch the option, currently I am only able to back up on the local drive.  I have the SQL server 2005 standard version and was wondering if it is worth upgrading from the Standard to the Enterprise version.
