The value for the useBean class attribute project1.class1 is invalid

Hi Experts
I want execute jsp pages in my desktop.
I have Apachi Tomcat 5.5.12 .

when I Open jsp page . I have this error:
 (The value for the useBean class attribute project1.class1 is invalid)

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /project1/web1/jsp1.jsp(8,0) The value for the useBean class attribute project1.class1 is invalid.

 Please help me.

    Please show your useBean tag.  Did you put your bean in a package ?

    yes it is in a package

    Where did you put the file     class1.class   ?
    Is this the path  ?

    I think you have the file structure wrong.  
    Try putting it  at this path.
    D:\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes\project1\class1.class
