Outlook 2003 won't connect to Exchange (but webmail works)

I am having the strangest problem with one user.

He can log into Outlook Web Access no problem.

However when he logs in on his pc, outlook won't connect.  We turned of caching (we're running OL 2003).  I tried recreating his Outlook profile- and he still couldn't connect.

I then tried logging him on to another machine completely and it still won't connect.

I then added his profile to my outlook and selected his profile and Outlook came up fine.

I figured this out.  It seems to be a known issue between my firewall VPN client, outlook 2003 and exchange 2003.  The the vpn client isn't releasing exchange sessions when the user disconnects forcing them to go over their 32 user sessions.
There isn't really enough information to go on.
Suspect account would seem the most likely cause. Delete the account and recreate.

Are you getting any errors on the Exchange Server in the Event Viewer with the users username in the error?

Verify that his 'Self' permissions are correct. Although I suspect they are since he can log into OWA.
