Transferring incoming calls directly to Voicemail

I am currently trying to figure out how I can allow the president's assistant to transfer calls directly to her voicemail while she is on the phone.  For example, I need to determine how to allow an incoming call to be answered by the assistant and then transferred to the president's voicemail.  I know this is possible but need guidance on how to setup the configuation.

I dont know the 3com but on other systems its called Manager -Secretary Working   -  

Sending a call directly to VoiceMail without answering the call is called many things - VM Reject  Forward To VoiceMail (Not Call Forward)  -  There are not many systems that support this feature.

If you dont have the feature - Create a phantom extension ( if the presidents extension is  444  create phantom extension 5444 ) forward 5444 always to voicemail and then within the voicemail forward mailbox 5444 to mailbox 444.  This way the assistant only has to transfer a call to 5 444 , to get directly to the presidents voicemail.  ( In the past Ive even had to insert a recording of ringing tone before the voicemail message to make it sound like the person doesnt answer  lol )

Answering the call in the first place -  Turn call waiting on the presidents phone normally you get a bip in the ear when a call is waiting , ( The bip can on some systems be turned off  know as call waiting indication  )  If you then have a lamp / button on the assistants phone with the presidents extension programmed into it, it should flash when a call is waiting. ( As I said I dont know the 3com but this is a usual function of this feature ) The assistant should be able to pick the call up.

To Frig it
 try  creating a ring group  use the presidents extension as the group number (renumber his extension, rename the new extension to show his old extension number and name)  put the President and his assistant in the group. Turn on call waiting  for the Assistant.  Overflow the group to voicemail and via voicemail system programming, direct the group to the presidents new extensions voicemail box also forwarded his old voicemail box to the new one. (This will allow his Message waiting light to work and any messages copied to his old mailbox will appear in his new voicemail box.)

I.E.  When a caller rings the presidents old extension number both phones will ring, if the assistant is on the phone it will show as a call waiting  If she does nothing the call will go to the presidents voicemail while shes on the phone. Or the call can be answered and if need be transferred to 5444 direct to voicemail.
