What I finally did was uninstall the scanner software and installed an earlier version as the CD for the newer version was corrupted. &nbsp;After messing with the software a few minutes, the error finally went away and I was able to connect to Maintenance and clean cartridge. I used both your suggestions in some manner so will split points.
