I'd set the Dell to 1920 x 1200 (the Cinema's optical resolution) and then shut down; connect the Cinema; and see if that does the trick.<br />

turns out the video card was bad. i replaced it with another and it works just fine now.

I have an Apple Cinema 23&quot; monitor with a DVI connector on it. It works fine on the Mac G5 we got it with. I have several PC's that also have DVI outputs that it works with. The Dell I REALLY want it to work on, it doesn't work. I get no video. I have a GeForce 8400 GS card in the Dell. &nbsp;The DVI out on the Dell works with other monitors just fine, just not the Apple monitor.
