Hi,

If i need to give a user access to connect to my machine through Mstsc .Where all should i add his name.

Is there any way that we can connect through Mstsc with some switches without the Remote Desktop access given in the remote machine.

First create a (temporary) user account - control panel - users
Then right click My Computer - properties - Remote TAB
Make sure Allow users to connect remotely is ticked then click on Select remote users
and add the user you just created.

The only otherway to coonect to a remote machine that has remote desktop enabled, is as an administrative user.

No. Remote Desktop is Remote Desktop - you can customize what runs when they login, but you cannot use RDP is a data connector etc....

You will need to add your user to the local remote desktop users group to let him logon
