error 1603 when installing sql server 2005 on windows vista

When trying to install MS SQL Server 2005 on Windows Vista, I get the following error after just 30 seconds installation :
error 1603 installing microsoft sql server setup support files

    I have already seen this article
    It does not fix my problem
    I use the original DVD of Microsoft and directories are correct
    I tried copying first the DVD to my local drive just in case, but the symptom is the same...
