What are the usual steps to reinstall windows on an easy note as this one has nothing on boot to help

I've installed windows many times on PC's and laptops and I have done on an Easynote but this easynote doesnt seem to have an "F" key option on boot to select a Destructive Recovery.

Is there any other known way such as initiating the installation from the desktop?

I assume by F key option you mean f for format disk when it finds which drive to instal it on, if so try digging out one of the old os cd you 98 for example and formating it that way.

then you should et an option to format the disk proerly when you restart with XP.

Another way to wipe the disk so that it cant find a preformatted disk is to user something like eraser to wipe the disk which will present a unformatted disk.

No F key as in F keys on the keyboard such as my PC I required to press F10 and from there I go into the options for formatting however the laptop I'm dealing with does not have an F10

only F2 and F12 which show nothing to do with formatting the drive!  There has to be a way to install from the partition

Points bumped up because I'd like a solution to this I've never had this problem before and my own Easynote laptop has the option on boot that I am looking for

If you boot from the windows install CD, you'll get different options. One should be to format the hard drive and then you proceed with a fresh install. It's not necessary to use the BIOS for this, except if you need to change boot order.

No f keys all I can suggest is checking packard bells web site there should be some info about getting into f key options.

How come ypu have f2 and f12 keys but none of the others or is it a case that the others dont work?

    Bit stumped to be honest.
