I'm using a Gusty Kubuntu on my desktop and I have established a VPN via KVpnc. I'm trying to remote desktop into the windows machine @ my office using the rdesktop command.

Here's how.

rdesktop 10.0.0.3

This works every time when I'm inside of the LAN but, I've been unable to successfully make the rdesktop connection through VPN.

The vpn connection is confirmed because I have been given an ip 10.0.0.20 from the windows machine that I have established the connection with.

What I get is:

> rdesktop 10.0.0.3
> Autoselected keyboard map en-us

after ~5 mins it times out

any ideas?
