Hi guys,

I have a couple of Windows Server 2003 servers that I am thinking about backing up to a NAS box using Symantec Backup Exec 11d. Is it best practise to install 11d on the 2k3 server and create a backup-to-disk folder pointing to the NAS box or to install 11d on the NAS box itself (Windows 2003 Appliance Edition) and set it to backup the servers remotely? i.e. which way round should this be done!?

Thanks
