My development platform is: Dreamweaver 8, MS Vista, Script Language: Javascript.

I am designing a restricted site which the user must login to gain access. Thereafter, he can perform serveral database operations like add, edit, delete records. I use the session variable as a search key for the query, add, update & delete operations.

When I left the PC and return 20 minutes later (which I think is the default session timeout value) to resume work on the update form, I encountered the error "ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'. This is probably caused by the session timeout since I used the session variable as a query key.

Seek Your Help:
1. Do you have a javascript (that can run in the background) which can show the remaining session time on the webpage? And if the session timeout, it automatically closes the restricted page and redirect to a page which says a session timeout had occured, and the user must login again? This script is very important.

2. On the "ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'" message, is there anyway I can hide it and show something like "session timeout" instead? Note: This error message arises because the query key (which is the session variable) is lost due to timeout.

Hope you can help me soon!
