Router doesn't route with static IP / works with DHCP though

I have a linksys router and my internet connection provides a static IP.  I know the static IP connection works fine, because if I configure my computer with the information, I can hit the internet just fine.

The problem happens when I configure my router with the static IP information.  My computer can pick up an address through DHCP from the router, can ping/connect to the router, but the router won't route any packets to the internet!  It's like it's dropping them?

If I configure the router to use DHCP, it can get a public IP from my ISP fine, and my computer is able to hit the internet.

I've tried about everything, but I can't seem to fix this problem.  I've reset my router to default settings hoping it would fix it, but it hasn't.  I've even started up a bootable OS (Knoppix) thinking it was my installation of Windows, but it still didn't work there either.

Can someone help me configure my static ip?
Thanks!
