I am currently transitioning from an Exchange 2000 server running on WIndows 2000 server to Exchange 2007 running on Server 2003. After the transition I would like to change the computer name and IP address of the new server to match the old server so that I don't have to go around to every single client machine and setup Outlook to access the new server. Can I simply just change the information and everything work fine? Or is there a special way that it needs to be done. The new exchange server is not a DC but it is a member of the domain.
