I have a SQL Server 2005 dbase that when I do a cfupdate on my database one of the cells I use for activating a record appends the update value in addition to the original value it if I try to change it. For example. The default value is nvarchar(50)( n'active) Null = No
So when the first record is created it has a value of "active".
Now when I do a cfupdate and change it from active to inactive using a web drop down list it looks as follows: active, inactive
it just adds a comma and the selected variable, and then continues to add the next value and it continues as long as I change it the string gets longer instead of overwriting the one value. It does not pick the changes up cleanly. Am I missing something?
