My server 2003 RAID is diveided into two logical drives C: 20gb and D: 250gb
A server restart on Monday took 40mins which is way more than usual.
HP hardware diagnostics show no physical fault
Logical dive D: shows no problems whatsoever
If I try too expand C: in eg explorer or arcserve the server hangs for about 30 secs.and recovers.
A defrag of the C: drive succeeds but shows a number of files that can't be defragged in particular one  in root  \ with no name 400mb size and 94070 fragments which cannot be defragmented. chkdsk with no options shows no errors. If possible I need to keep the server running until the weekend before taking it down again . In the meantime any ideas of what my problem is / cure? Thanks Iain
