VPN will not connect. (others to other locations do, and the same setting for this one from another location does as well

Can't connect a VPN connection.  I have several VPN connections from my workstation to various locations.  However, I have 1 that I cannot get to connect.  I can do so from other locations with the same configuration but unable from home. I have tried it with the Firewall on & off.  I have Logging turned on and  I notice a difference on the locations that work & don't.  I also notice that in the router log it seems that the VPN that will not work is sending a 2nd port line.  Below are pieces of each Log.  Anyt thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
In the PFIREWALL.LOG the connection that does not work has an extra line, refering to "Drop"  where all the other VPN connections that work only have lines refering to Open & Close:
The syntax from the Log is:

#Version: 1.5
#Software: Microsoft Windows Firewall
#Time Format: Local
#Fields: date time action protocol src-ip dst-ip src-port dst-port size tcpflags tcpsyn tcpack tcpwin icmptype icmpcode info path
2007-10-24 18:48:22 DROP TCP 68.xxx.xxx.xxx 192.168.1.100 1723 4304 72 A 2631259657 4157013674 5840 - - - RECEIVE
(I removed the destination IP address as a security precaution.)
The consistant information goes as far as the IP, IP, then port 1723, it's the stuff after that which is different.

The in the Lynksys log it shows an extra Outgoing reference to Port 3
The ones that work only refer to the Lan IP \ Dest IP\ port 1723
the one that doesn't also shows a reference to Port 3

So after all of that does anyone have any ideas?

It's possible your IP addressing (IP range) it's the same of remote site?

ASKER

Not an IP issue.
I think I have narrowed it down to the router, as if I hook up to the Cable Modem directly I can make this VPN connection.  However, when I am going through the router I cannot.  Again, I have several other VPN connections setup which connect without problem.  The only difference I see between those and this one is that in the Routers "Outgoing Log"  I see that this connection tryes to open a second port.  It shows a line to connect to the IP address with Port 1723. Then the next line shows an attempt to port 3 or 6 (last night it showed as Port 3 today it lists a line showing Port 6. )  but on the good VPN connections it never shows any reference to the second port
