I'm using "System.Net.NetworkInformation.Ping" to create a PING C# Windows Service.... to PING hundred of computers we have at external locations.

I'd like to be able to estimate the network bandwidth at these external locations. I was hoping the "Response Time" from the PING maybe could unlock the door...or perhaps there is another method.

Does anyone have any insight for me?

Basically I'd like to show say:
IP:                         24.123.222.111
Bandwidth Est:      45KB per second

Am I barking up the wrong tree trying to use the "Reponse Time" from my PING results?

Any feedback in appreciated....perhaps another solution already exists...any help is appreciated. Thanks.

NOTES:
     App Language:     C#
     .NET Framework   2.0
     IDE:                      VS 2005
