User Cannot Sync BlackBerry to Exchange Calendar -- Duplicate records found on device Internal Error #4238. Translation Canceled!

Environment: Microsoft Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003, Windows XP Pro SP2, RIM Desktop Manager 4.2.2, BlackBerry World

User cannot sync BB World phone to Outlook 2003/Exchange 2007 calendar. There are 105 record in the phone. Address Book works fine.  The error on screen is:

Duplicate records found on device.

I have tried renaming the Intellisync folder... I've tried recreating the Outlook profile.  Nothing has helped so far, any ideas?

I did both of those steps as I said above... except, how do I point the BBDM to a different MAPI Profile?  When I created the new profile I just renamed the Intellisync folder and started from scratch with BBDM.  However, it should be noted that I did not delete the old MAPI Profile, I only created a new one... so if there is somewhere that I need to specify which profile to use, I didn't see it and didn't do it.
Assign the new MAPI Profile as the Default Profile

You can assign the new MAPI profile either in the Redirector Settings or from the Options menu.

In the Redirector Settings

In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, double-click Redirector Settings or Email Settings.
Click the Advanced tab.
Click Profile Settings.
Select the Always use this profile option.
From the drop-down list, click the new MAPI profile.
Click OK>OK.
From the Options menu

In the Options menu, click Email Profile Settings.
Make sure Always use this profile is selected.
From the drop-down menu, select the new profile. Restart BlackBerry Desktop Manager when prompted.
Ok, I tried both of these steps and still the same error message. I am about to give up. Any  other thoughts? My other option is to completely uninstall Outlook and try again. I REALLY don't want to do that. HELP!
