We need a wan simulator like Nistnet, it has to be depenable and hopefully inexpensive. Linux, Windows or Hardware simulator

We need a wan simulator for testing and the results will be published product data.  We are trying to use Nistnet on a Dell 1850 however it does not seem to like the hardware.  We would like to stay away from the 50,000$ or more hardware solutions because we need at least 3 of them.

We already have about a week tied up in trying to get nistnet to work on our Dell 1850.  There was Nistnet out there as a VMware virtual machine however it appears to not be available any more.

Can someone help us out ?

Good thought and it is good for me to know this is out there however I need to put in spacific latancies in communications such as a half a second.

If we can find a reasonably priced hardware wansim, that will work also.
