The domain controller could not find it on a static or a dhcp in DNS, thats why we tried it. &nbsp;However, after bringing it back to a static, it showed up in the DNS console on the domain controller, so it looks like I can close this. &nbsp;Thanks for the quick replies!<br />

I recently just took my server off of a static ip address and when I bring it back to one that is automatic, it just says "aquiring network address" the entire time.   We also have a DNS issue when trying to register the dns using the ipconfig /registerdns command.  It comes back with "RPC Server is unavailable"

Any help please.
