How to remove all URLs from IE browser

How do I remove all history of URLS from the IE URL address list.  (i.e. if I type the letter 'f' it brings up all websites that start with 'f' even though in internet options for Windows XP I removed cookies, cleared offline files and history )

Internet Explorer users can view the address bar history by clicking the down arrow on the far right side of the text box. To help keep the pages you have recently visited or searched for you can clear the address bar history.
To delete address bar in Internet Explorer 7.0:
" Select "Tools"
" Select "Internet Options".
" Open the "General" tab.
" In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
" To delete list of web sites you have visited (delete Address bar history), click "Delete history" and then click Yes.
" Click Close and then click OK.

To delete address bar history in Internet Explorer 5.x/6.x:
