There was an old post that asked what everyone recommend for a Wireless Router, but the last post there was 2006. I'd like some input on what the experts are recommending now. A couple of notes. I have tried several brands previously and now have a U.S.R. I have a recurring problem with it where it just refuses to talk to the internet even though the WAN shows a active lease. A soft reset solves it but it's a pain. Also, I am concerned about security and would like some input on the best one for it's internal firewall. I do have a Win2003 Server behind the router that needs to be able to talk to the Internet via VPN. Also the U.S.R. has a weird problem where the wireless clients show up as wired and wired clients as wireless at times. Also sometimes the certain clients can not talk to other clients or ping or see them, but it's transient and I have checked and checked and can't find a reasonable answer why. So that said, those are the problems I'd like to avoid even if I have to pay more for a better unit. Also, is there a managed Wireless router that would work with the Old Frame Relay DSL I modem I use?
