WIA from web page??

I want to be able to capture an image from my camera connected to my computer through a webpage. I can only examples of WIA that I can run as an app on my computer. Can anyone show me how to use WIA on a webpage to capture an image with my camera?

My ultimate goal is to have it automatically upload the picture I take to my webserver.

Yes but i want to do this via webpage, not a program running on my local computer
I've done some investigations and unless you develop an activeX control which the user downloads to the client it's not possible to interact with the camera on the client.

Have you considered a Flash movie, from what I have read it is possible to integrate a camera with Flash Player 6 and above.

A downloadable activex control is acceptable but I do not know how to do this. Flash is not an acceptable solution
