Non-hanging indents in Powerpoint 2003

I seem to only be able to create hanging indents instead of nicely linged up left indents when making pullets and "arrow" points in Powerpoint 2003.

In other words, with my bulleted text, the bullet is there, followed by a "tabed" space of about 10 spaces.  The first line of the paragraph is where I want it to be, but the second line wraps back to be aligned with the bullet margin.

I' can do it in word, but not too very well in Powerpoint.
Thanks

Show the ruler, and move the markers as you would like.

And here's some pictures for you:

A note:
You may only need to reapply your layouts.  If you change your design, the layouts will adjust automatically to the new design.  http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HP051925701033.aspx?pid=CH063500551033

Thanks Glenn and Glenna (Hmm, sounds like an Ed Wood movie)

Glenna, I checked your link and what seems to apply to my handing indents is this:

" To change the position of the text, drag the left indent marker. Drag just the pointed top part of the marker (if you drag the bottom rectangle, both indents move together). "

I'm having a problme just dragging the "pointed top part of the marker".  No matter now I drag it, both the pointy top and the bottom rectangle move together.

Is here a tutorial on how to grab just the top pointy part of the marker?????????

Thanks

Rowby
