Buying laptop Advice / Best Prices
Hello,
I have been asked to find a laptop for someone with a budget of £300 or less. They are requiring a quick response and so I haven't got much time to look around and compare prices / hardware spec. So I was wondering if anyone knows of any good deals going at the moment? Or can advise on where to look for the best laptop she can get for her money.
It sound like she only needs the laptop for thing like surfing the web and copying music from her ipod and images from her camera. I would still like to find her something with at least 512mb RAM though as XP seems to not like running on less than that.
I have already had a very quick look and this seems like a good laptop-

Thanks, Jonathan

phototropic:, Thanks for the links to ebuyer. I had forgotten about that site. I know it has a good reputation though. looking there, this one looks like a strong possibility.

simpswr, I looked at dell (UK) before but couldn't see any for less than £300. They are probably cheaper on the US site though.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I will have a look at those sites/laptops that you have suggested and create a short-list for her.
