We are running a Windows Server 2003 domain controller with Exchange server 2003. A user was deleted several months ago and his mailbox was purged. His name (and email address) no longer appear any where in AD that I can see. he is not on any distribution or security groups. And yet, when someone emails from Outlook to the security group of which he USED to be a member an email is still sent to his old email address. So, the user sending the email gets a non-delivery report. Any ideas where this supposedly deleted email address is coming from?
