Why can't I ping computer on network?
I set up 3 computers on a linksys wireless router (two wireless and one hardwired). Two of them are a client's computers and one of them is mine. All computers have internet access via DHCP (addresses 192.168.1.100 etc) however from my computer, I am unable to ping the other 2 computers, whereas the other computers are able to ping mine. All computers have the windows firewall turned off.
What could be configured differently about those computers that they can't be pinged?

The non-pingable computers seem to be running the ping service, because I am able to ping the when on the same PC (ping 192.168.1.101 works when on that computer)
I have double-checked that there is no other firewall running on the computers. Besides, firewalls in the default configuration don't block PING packets, do they?

Are you the wired computer in this setup? Can those other 2 computers ping each other?

My computer is wired, and 1 of the others is wired, one isn't.
Neither of those 2 computers can ping each other (they can only can ping themselves)
It sounds like a software firewall issue, doesn't it?

Yes it does, but you said that the firewall is truned off. Or it could be a Norton Internet Security Issue. Are you running Norton?
Sorry, are any of these computers running Norton?
it sounds like a routing problem. can you please post IPCONFIG /ALL and ROUTE PRINT results of your computer? your may run the two commands at command prompt.
