In Delphi the datetostring defaults to 'dd/mm/yyy'<br />
The smalldatetime format on my sql server is 'yyyy/mm/dd hh:nn:ss'<br />

My problem is that I can not be sure on the dateformat on the sqlserver if the application is run against a different server in a different country.<br />

Can I somehow change the default dateformat on the adoconnection to use a specfic format so that I'm able to use a fixed formatdatetime format in my query ?
