Our company has a Netscreen 25 Firewall, and I've been requested to setup a few VPN connections for remote/home users from the Netscreen to their home routers (generally fairly new Netgear ones).

I've virtually no experience of VPN setup, so would like some help understanding the different types of VPN there are (pros/cons), and which would be best for me to use.

The Netscreen (on our network) has a fixed IP, but the remote users will have dynamic IP's, but we could get them setup with fixed ones or a DynamicDNS alias if required. Is VPN setup possible (securely) without a fixed IP?

The Netscreen appears to have 3 types of VPN available - AutoKey IKE, Manual Key and  L2TP. Which do you recommend, and what are the main steps involved in setting it up?

Thanks in advance...
