asked on

business plan

this question for who made a business plans before starting a project...
well i was always friendly with my intuition, and all i ever done came straight from my head,
but in past few years it seems that all the issue of business plans came to the conscience of a lot of people and companies...they satisfied with a general plan or existing situation but they realy want to see the business plan...
i agree that it is much more serious when you got a business plan on paper how it is deffrent from the general plan in in your head that was there a long ago before you started the business plan?:)
now, i will ask all who read my speach here to share with us his thought about this and recomend where to start and find a real good frame to a business plan, to tell the most important things with the business plan and most of all to tell some tips on this matter:)

Write a businss plan every 5 years if you're a B2B or B2C regardless what type of entity you represent (for profit, nonprofit). Create a quarterly SWOT analysis, (re)evaluate your company's current market situation.. but all of that and anything else is purely mechanical.

It all depends on what expectations you have about writing a business plan. Do you intend to use it as a roadmap to pursue a specific opportunity? Is it only being written to satisfy a project requirement (e.g., IT asked for one, therefore we're writing one)?

There's plenty of software out there that can help you write a cookie-cuttered one, but even then, you still need to understand each of its components so that you can present it to your constituents (subordinates, senior managers, board of directors, a banking institution if applying for a business loan, etc.).

You can Google for business plan templates, samples, and working documents if you add the PPT or *.edu keywords to your search phrase.

i must say that i started to write a b.plan, i started to from the customers...and i must say...i got no creative and original way to publish me to the customers...and no business plan can answer me that question...
i do not want to go to the old fashion media...people are so sick of comersials on tv radio borads...i need some original way...if i wont get idea about this i will give it up...
you can build a perfect product but if customers do not know about you are lost...and today people do not want to see\hear another commersial
I have found the best thing about writing the plan down instead of having a mental plan is that it allows you to think through your ideas. Have you also considered that realistically that not all business plans are the same in what the may or may not include alot depends on the products and enviroment of the particular business.
"you can build a perfect product but if customers do not know about you are lost"
you may want to consider a marketing plan aswell as creating a business plan. Marketing plans help the process and give information to how exactly your going to deliver the products to the market

My question to you is how do you know
1) "people are so sick of comersials on tv radio borads"
2)"and today people do not want to see\hear another commersial"

cause people talk about it and i ask many people as a research to where best invest your money...
most of the people said that they will try the product if the marketing won't be agresive and kichi...thet respect some original marketing that will surpise them
oh ok well you may want to look into a marketing plan rather than a business plan to deal with these issues

when you say it sounds so easy...like there is a books and stuff...but the realy good fresh ideas and originality is behind peoples heads and if it in the book this is old...
:)
yeh well the ideas are hard to obtain but there are some processes that can help you understand an approach that you could take to achieve your marketing objective
for example creating and doing a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, oppertunitys and threats) anlysis
