Probing Succedded on Ethernet message from sonicwall firewall.

Hi All

I have recieved teh following message from my firewall and just wondered if anyone could explain whats happening as i cant find anything about teh message on the tinterweb.

10/30/2007 00:08:49.608 -       Probing succeeded on Ethernet -       Source:212.xxx.xxx.xxx -       Destination:195.8.69.12 -        -       


Can anyone help ?

You have a probe set up to monitor your connection to the internet (or a particular host) and that message means that the connection to the specified destination had dropped, but is now back.

Hi All,

Thanks for thr responses ... i'm confused re the links as they just list the item i'm seeing then give me a load of numbers that don't really explain whats happening.

The second response , i'm a little confused about , are you telling me i have set up a probe ? if so i havent or is this something i shoudl be worrying about ?
