Proliant ML110G4 - Configure raid after install

Purchased a new HP Proliant ML110 G4 server system for a client with a small 4 machine network, installed Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard.
The product specification states that the server supports RAID 1 (amongst others) which we would now like to install for fault tolerance. Sourcing the hardware and hard disks isn't a problem, but I would like to know whether it is possible to configure a hardware RAID array after installing Windows and, if so, can you give steps or a web link?

Thanks

>Not possible I'm afraid
I guessed this would be the situation, still debating whether to do this and reinstall the OS.

If I configure a RAID 1 array with the 160GB disks at present, can I install a single secondary drive later or does that have to have 2 drives too?

I would think so although this would not be part of any RAID array. I haven't played much with the 100 series since none of our customers (or me) like them. You could experiment with the current disks, turn RAID on and only have 1 disk in the box and see if it lets you configure it.
As I guessed.

Just out of interest, can you enlighten me on why you don't like the 100 series?

Cheers :-)
When they first came out they weren't even made by HP but were badged OEM products, they don't have the redundant features of the 300 and 500 series and I very much doubt they are as reliable as them. Of course it is reflected in the price.
Interesting. Thanks for your help!
