On my Exchange system manager, i went to the server and queue. i see two of our smtp connectors have 1 msgg waiting<br />

the status is set to &quot;retry&quot; and the mssage has been there for a while, on both smtp connectors. <br />
<br />
I tried a force connection and unfreeze and they won't go away, they are still queued. <br />
<br />
What does this mean and how can i get the messages to send?<br />

I tried a force connection and unfreeze and they won't go away, they are still queued. 

What does this mean and how can i get the messages to send?

SMTP Connector QUeue

Interactions between email servers and clients are governed by email protocols. The three most common email protocols are POP, IMAP and MAPI. Most email software operates under one of these (and many products support more than one).  The correct protocol must be selected, and correctly configured, if you want your email account to work.
