Windows user login within set IP range

Last Modified: 2010-04-18
I've created a Windows User account which will be accessing a website I created in IIS.  Is there a way in IIS 6.0 (outside of using server side scripting code) to automatically authenticate certain users who access this website within a prescribed IP range?

My customer asked whether he could require a Windows login to access his "secure site" ONLY when his users are outside of a set IP range.  I have the login part figured out, but don't see a way to automatically authenticate certain folks within an IP range.  I see how to grant/deny access based upon IP, but that doesn't help... at least, I don't think it does.

Any help on this is appreciated!
