I have installed Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition in my laptop. When I want to create a new web application, I do not find the options for the creation of the web applications.

In the visual studio 2005, I clicked on the create new project link. I exploded the Visual C# directory and I see only Windows, Smart Device, Database, Start Kits. I do not see the item "Web". When I checked with other developers, I can find the "Web" item under the C# project type.

I can create a new web site but not able to create a new web application.

I have IIS 6 running on my laptop. I have installed SQL Server 2005 in the same laptop.

First I tried with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite and I had the same problem.

I am not sure what is the problem. Can anyone help me to get rid of this issue?
