We have an instance of SQL Server 2005 running which we've already installed with Deafult settings on a Windows 2003 server.
We're implementing a 3rd party software that will use this database. The supplier of this software informed us that we have to have the collation type in SQL set to "Windows". By default, it is set to "Binary". We're 95% sure that we've installed SQL with deafult settings.

We want to know how to first check what collation type our instance is currently configured with, and if it is in Binary, how do we change it to Windows, without uninstalling and reinstalling SQL?

Best Regards,
