I am trying to configure 2 indpendant VLANS on a DELL power connect 5224. Whenever I try to remove ports from the default VLAN 1 I get  "PVID OR MANAGEMNET VLAN MEMEBERSHIP CONFLICT"

I have created a seperate VLAN with ID of 2 and no management ip address, I want to have all odd numbered ports as members of one VLAN and even to a serperate VLAN and traffice to be segregated.

Any ideas?
