I just wanted to know if this switch supported Auto-Balancing (i.e. I hook up two ethernet cables from one switch to another, do I get double the bandwidth?) I know that most managed switches have this feature but since I didn't see it in the specs I'm assuming it doesn't. Then again...since all ports can be used as uplink ports I would think that it might. If possible I'd like more than an assumption. Thanks!

It is an 8 port Netgear Gigabit Switch - GS108

There's no mention of EtherChannel,r LACP or 802.3ad. So I would say that this switch does not support having two links with both forwarding.

That said, even if it did, you still won't get double the bandwidth between two hosts. That's not the way Etherchannel works.
