starfield background

I'm designing a website and would like to have an animated starfield (looks like you are traveling slowly through the stars) as the left and right side columns for the page so it appears that the whole background is a starfield.

I'm looking for a pretty sophisticated look and feel (not cheesy).  I'm guessing this would need to be made in flash but I'm not sure where to start.  I'm also not sure how to make the flash variable sized so each fills the browser window outside of the pages content.


Any ideas?

there's a number of tutorials out there - how you want it not to look cheesy -you can just change the graphic.
have a look at the intro of this site. ..
