Hi all,

I got iPAQ 3950 from my uncle. I could use it until I updated this patch - sp25682 : iPAQ H3950/H3955 SD Card Driver Updates.
It couldnot update completely so it showed error that some files missing - AH_ENG, HH_DD (If I remember right names).
Moreover, I could not connect it with my PC via ActiveSync 4.5 again and many icons in setting -> system are gone e.g. Power, Asset Viewer.
After that, I try to fix it by the hard reset, but it does not show file missing error message only.
The icons and activesyn still doesn't work now.

Do you have any solution to help me? Could I very hard reset?

Thank you,

Maybe you used the wrong update. Try to get an earlier update.

I download this driver from HP and it is the right version. This error occurs because it loses power for a while. Therefore, it could not complete updating driver.

If you are running 2003

In my history of PPC's HP has been one of the lowest when it comes to upgrades and support. I would buy another one. I tried to get a rom update from them but all there links are bad.

Thank you. I use PC 2002 but now it cannot connect with my PC. I think HP should have solution to reset ROM e.g. set JUMPER or something like that.

Finally, HP cannot solve this problem. It has only one solution is changing mainboard. Unfortunately, this model rare to find the spare part. In my local support center, they told me that they don't have it.
