error 501 - Method not implemented when trying to acces webpages

We have a Compaq Laptop running windows XP Media Centre Edition. When we try and access webpages i.e. www.bbc.co.uk  we get an error saying "Method not implemented". Has anybody got any suggestions as to how we can fix this issue?

Turned out to be Norton. When we disabled Norton the websites worked fine.
